NGAGE Hyper Flow Air Filter for Yamaha Aerox 155 / NVX 155 V2

Cotton gauze air filters offer several benefits compared to traditional paper or foam air filters. Here are some of the advantages of using cotton gauze air filters:

1. Improved airflow:

Cotton gauze filters are made to allow maximum airflow while still effectively capturing dirt and debris. The porous nature of the cotton material allows air to flow more freely, which can enhance engine performance by promoting better combustion and increasing horsepower.

2. Better filtration efficiency:

Cotton gauze filters provide superior filtration compared to paper or foam filters. The multiple layers of cotton gauze are tightly woven, allowing them to effectively trap smaller particles such as dust, pollen, and other contaminants. This helps prevent engine damage and prolongs the life of the engine by reducing the amount of dirt that enters the combustion chamber.

3. Reusability and longevity:

One of the significant advantages of cotton gauze filters is that they can be cleaned and reused multiple times. Unlike paper filters that need to be replaced regularly, cotton gauze filters can be washed, reoiled, and reinstalled, which makes them more cost-effective and environmentally friendly in the long run.

4. Enhanced durability:

Cotton gauze filters are generally more durable and robust than traditional paper or foam filters. The cotton material is resistant to high temperatures and can withstand greater pressure differentials without collapsing or tearing. This makes cotton gauze filters suitable for high-performance applications or off-road driving conditions where the filter may be subjected to more challenging environments.

5. Improved engine protection:

By providing better filtration and maintaining optimal airflow, cotton gauze filters help protect the engine from contaminants that can cause wear and damage. Clean air is essential for the efficient operation of the engine, and using a cotton gauze filter can contribute to a cleaner and healthier engine over time.

It's important to note that while cotton gauze filters offer these advantages, proper maintenance is necessary to ensure optimal performance. Regular cleaning and reoiling according to the manufacturer's instructions are essential to maintain the filter's effectiveness.
